Welcome to Azories. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Azories is an AI-powered children's story creation and reading platform operated by Azories Ltd. We provide tools that allow users to create, read, share, and print personalised children's books using artificial intelligence. By accessing or using Azories, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Azories is intended for use by adults (18+) on behalf of children, and by children aged 13 and over with parental consent. If you are under 13, you may only use Azories with the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
You own your stories. Stories, characters, and other content you create using Azories ("User Content") belong to you. You grant Azories a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process your content solely to provide the service.
Marketing, social media & derivative works. By creating or publishing content on Azories, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable licence to display, reproduce, adapt, publish, transmit, publicly perform and create derivative works from your User Content (including stories, characters, illustrations, covers, narrations and animations) on:
Monetisation. This licence is expressly extended to cover any monetisation of those platforms and derivative works, including — but not limited to — YouTube Partner Programme ad revenue, TikTok Creator Fund payouts, Instagram bonuses, sponsored posts, brand partnerships and affiliate placements. You acknowledge that Azories is not obliged to share any revenue generated from this monetisation with you. This does not affect any separate revenue-share programme you have expressly opted into with us in writing.
We will never sell your raw content as a standalone product to third parties and we will credit you (by your public display name) where reasonably possible. You can opt out at any time by emailing books@azories.com with the subject line "Opt out of marketing use" and we will remove the affected content from our owned channels within 14 days. Opting out does not affect (a) content we have already shared publicly and which cannot practicably be recalled from third-party platforms, or (b) derivative works already published; but we will not use new content from your account going forward. You retain ownership of your content at all times.
You are responsible for your content. By creating content on Azories, you confirm that:
Uploaded photos & likenesses. If you upload a photo of a person (including yourself, your child or another family member) to personalise a book, you confirm and warrant that:
General indemnity. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Azories, its officers, employees, contractors and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your User Content; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property, publicity or privacy rights; or (d) your misuse of the Azories service.
AI-generated content. Images and text generated by our AI tools in response to your prompts are provided to you as outputs. You are responsible for ensuring that your prompts and the resulting outputs do not infringe third-party rights. Azories does not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from third-party claims.
Printed books. When you order a printed version of your story, you are solely responsible for ensuring that the content is original and does not infringe any third-party intellectual property. Azories reserves the right to refuse print orders that appear to contain infringing content.
Takedown & content control. Azories reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove, hide, edit for length, or refuse to use any User Content for any lawful reason, including where a third party has raised a good-faith intellectual-property or privacy complaint. Removal from Azories' own channels does not constitute an admission of infringement and does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees or credits.
You may not use Azories to create, store, share, or print content that:
Azories reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly or seriously breach them.
Azories respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to us containing:

Certain features of Azories require a paid subscription, a story top-up, or credits. Stories are your main currency for creating personalised AI books — each personalised AI book consumes one story from your monthly subscription allowance or your top-up balance. Credits are a separate pool used for optional extras like page animations, HD cover regeneration and audio narration.
Stories and credits are non-refundable once used. Unused stories or credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none have been consumed. Writing your own book by hand is always free and does not consume stories or credits.
Print orders are fulfilled by our third-party print partner (Lulu Press). Once a print order has been submitted to production, it cannot be cancelled. Refunds for print orders are subject to our print partner's policies and are generally only available for manufacturing defects.
All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
Our AI tools are designed to generate age-appropriate, creative content. However, AI systems are imperfect. Azories does not guarantee that all AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or free from errors. You should review all AI-generated content before sharing or printing it. Azories is not liable for any AI-generated content that you find inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable, provided that we have taken reasonable steps to prevent such outputs.
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using Azories, you agree to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties and do not display advertising on our platform.
Azories, the Azora character, Blaze the dragon, all platform content created by us (including the Story of Azora and our library of curated stories), and all associated branding, logos, and designs are the intellectual property of Azories Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azories shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of Azories after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
